AB 2007 – Concussion Protocol
Effective 1/1/17 that requires all youth sports organizations to have a Concussion Protocol in place. It also requires each Organization Administrator (Executive Board) and each Coach (including Assistants) to complete an online Concussion course and receive yearly training. The course is free and will take approximately 30-45 minutes of your time. The course will need to be completed and the certificate returned to me before the Coach can participate in practices. No exceptions, sorry.
To take the course follow these instructions – Go to National Federation of State High School click on Concussion Courses, select the Concussion in Sports course. You will register as a Coach.
